INOFEA’S

TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM

We have developed a unique and patented technology platform that makes enzymes easy to separate after a reaction is completed, to use them in continuous or flow-through reactors, and to avoid enzyme leaching from the carrier they are immobilized on. In small molecule API manufacturing, our technology reduces the number of intermediates and makes them more robust in the presence of organic solvents or other chaotropic conditions, high temperatures, or low and high pH values.

Our technology platform is unlocking the full potential of enzymes, providing a seamless level of enhanced properties, unlike any other existing technology.

How Does It Work?

INOFEA’s technology uses a flexible step-by-step approach to tailor the conditions of enzyme anchoring and shielding based on the enzyme selected and on the reaction it catalyzes.

Our technology is capable to immobilize any enzyme or cocktail of enzymes onto particles and protect them by growing a structured shield on the outer surface. The protective layer prevents the enzyme denaturation, avoids leaching of the enzyme and provides a remarkable resistance to various process conditions.
